Honeymoon Destinations: The UK
Travel to a Romantic World Unto Itself

The UK offers a truly unique and amazing experience at every turn for weddings and honeymoons.  From John O'Groats to Lands End you’ll discover charms both old-world and new that simply don’t exist anywhere else.

London is the obvious place to start.  The English capital is bursting with iconic sightseeing, from Buckingham Palace and the Houses of Parliament, to the West End Theatres and the Thames River.  Just exploring the city, whether by Tube or walking the labyrinthine side streets, is an exciting journey.

The South West boasts some of the UK’s best beaches, like Newquay and Torquay, not to mention the historic Bath and awe-inspiring Cheddar Gorge.  In Central England you’re find Shakespeare’s birthplace, Stratford Upon Avon, the UK’s largest theme park, Alton Towers, and the city of Birmingham.  In fact, there is so much beauty, history and variety here that this section of the UK enjoys an ever-growing reputation as an ideal wedding destination.

If you’re looking to add a shot of silly fun into your romantic travels, nothing beats the thrilling rides at Chessington World of Adventures or the more relaxed Legoland Windsor in the South.  Or if you’d rather skip the adventures for a little R&R, the South coast and the gorgeous Isle of Wight are the perfect spots.

Discover the glorious cathedral of Canterbury, and revel in the beautiful, sunny Brighton in the South East.  From here, enjoy a quick daytrip to Paris on the Eurostar, or via ferry or Hovercraft from the Channel Islands!

To the East is some of the loveliest scenery in the UK, rivaled only by Northern destinations like the Yorkshire Dales and the Scotland border.  And while you’re up here you’ll have to visit Manchester and Liverpool: the birthplaces of countless rock n’ roll royalty, from The Beatles to The Smiths.

The UK’s destination wedding and honeymoon charms are as varied as they are effortless.  Multiple countries, cultures and views are easily accessible without the need for different currencies.  Nearby you’ll find the friendly locals, buzzing nightlife and stunning scenery of Northern Ireland, the historic castles and modern art scene of Scotland, and the cosmopolitan along side the ancient of Wales.

The UK is like an enigmatic world unto itself, and the perfect place to get lost together with your new hubby.  There's nothing else like it, just like love.
