Is “All-Inclusive” Right for You?
Considering Cheap Honeymoon Packages
Typically, cheap honeymoon packages are found through cruise lines or at all inclusive resorts. Here are a few things to keep in mind when considering honeymoon vacation packages:
- All inclusive means that after you pay up front; you should not get out your wallet during the rest of the trip. And you should not have to worry about anything. Things like meals, drinks, and accommodations are all taken care of. Remember that alcoholic beverages will probably be limited to cheaper local brands and not international labels that you might recognize.
- Caribbean honey packages are offering some of their best prices in years, often throwing in more luxurious amenities such as massages. However, be weary of places that might tempt you to “upgrade” throughout the entire trip. Perhaps they will offer an a la carte meal instead of a buffet, or give you options for off-site excursions. This typically occurs when they sense you are tired of lying around the pool and may need a change of scenery.
- Remember that you get what you pay for. If you’d like something a little more luxurious with a few extra options, you can still get a great value on an all-inclusive package. Just be vigilant in your evaluation. There are places that include more choices, such as dining options, better beverages, water sports, excursions, and facials.
